Dont Just Rely On Links
Dont Just Rely On Links
The biggest factor of search engine optimization is the quality of the inbound links to your website, but if your website or webpage isn’t optimized for the search terms you are promoting then you will be fighting an up hill battle, especially if you are aiming for popular keyterms. Sometimes there might not be many website for a certain search term but the ones that are on the first page would have used on site optimization techniques.
I have been promoting keyterms for many niches and the amount of search results doesn’t necessarily mean how easy or hard it would be to rank well for that term. I personally recommend fine tuning the webpage’s that you want to rank highly and start off from the very basic stuff like meta geo tags, meta keyword tags but read up on the meta refresh tag if you decide you need to use it. Once you have optimized the meta tags you can then focus on the titles tags and h3 tags as those hold a lot of weight with google.
Also optimize all the html image tags as well as links and alt tags. A good optimized webpage can make a big impact on your search engine position.
Make sure you do research into your keywords so you are focusing on markets that produce a lot of traffic and a lot of sales.
Once you have completed your on-page optimization you can then make user friendly tweaks like adding a live chat so your customers can speak with customer services directly or a phone number for them to ring.
Once all that is done you can focus on link building and producing loads of high quality relevant links that google loves. Only focus on building relevant links or links from high traffic sites, as all the old link types just don’t cut it anymore.
